MINI-SOCCER
TOURNAMENT RULES
REGISTRATION:
All teams must fill in a team sheet issued by A.Y.F.C. upon arrival and
return it completed prior to the first match.
TEAMS:
A
maximum of 10 players per team. No player shall play for more than one
team. All players must be within the correct age group.
SUBSTITUTES:
Substitutes
will be on a roll on/roll off basis.
DURATION
OF GAMES: 7
minutes per half with a half time break of not more than 2 minutes. For
semi-final and final matches, no extra time will be played. Drawn games
at this stage will go straight to penalties.
MATCH
CONTROL: A
referee and pitch official will be allocated for each match and their
decisions will be final.
PLAYERS
DISCIPLINE: Any
player receiving two yellow cards or a red card during the course of the
tournament shall take no further part. If the banned player continues
to play then that team will be immediately withdrawn and all of their
matches will be void.
COLOUR
CLASHES: The
team drawn first in the program are deemed the home team. In the event
of a colour clash, the away team must change. All teams should therefore
bring an away kit or bibs.
GROUP
PLACINGS: To
decide group placing, 3 points will be awarded for a win, 2 for a score
draw and 1 for a no score draw. In the event of teams being level on points,
the final positions will be decided by a) goal difference b) number of
goals scored and then c) penalty shoot-out.
PENALTIES:
Penalty
shoot-outs will consist of 5 penalties per side, taken alternatively by
pre-named players in the team. If the teams are still level after this
stage, the shoot-out will move to sudden death situation. Each player
must only take one penalty unless the complete squad have taken one.
PROTESTS:
Any
protest must be made at the registration tent directly after the game
in question, unless lodged with the referee prior to the start of a game.
No protest in relation to a referees decision will be considered.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Any
rule not covered in the above will be in compliance with F.A. and/or S.E.E.P.
mini-soccer league rules.
